Looks like we have another in Brook. Not sure I agree with this not taking the new ball as it's harder and will race off to the boundary easier, not like we're having any bother currently. Surely, with 140+ lead, you try and take the wickets???

Brook looks like an incredible talent. He has plenty to add to his test game but his performances already have been astonishing. I'll be fascinated to see how he does in the Ashes.

    Forgotten about that

I've met many a nice one - the wife of the owner of the local Saffa bar in Munich is particularly lovely

What a player - I suspect he is a bit more relaxed off the pitch

Can't believe you left out Robin Smith and Andrew Strauss - they would be my favourites

I must admit the couple that used to own our favourite bar in Portugal are lovely, used to bring his secret stash of 'proper' red wine out for me

I suspect Pakistan have rather thrown in the towel here.

I'll give you Smith - I was trying to remember which of him and Hick was the Rhodesian.

But Strauss sounded like he was English, not a Saffer. And that's how our racism works - accents, not skin colour.

They must be loving the board/groundsmen for the pitch
