Thread: Never a penalty

    Never a penalty

I've seen some dodgy pelanties given in my time, but farking hell!

I'd be furious if that had been given against The Arsenal.
“Other clubs never came into my thoughts once I knew Arsenal wanted to sign me.”

You don't often see them given sadly, but "reckless" challenge in the box is simply asking for it. It'll happen more now hopefully.
"Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.

"But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."

Been a bugbear of mine for years, the foul after the shot not being given as a penalty. Anywhere else it's a foul. That said, that was at the very soft end of the scale as Kane kicked his blocking foot, rather than Dumfries taking him out.

Fine margins these days. If Dumphries had raised his foot a second earlier and blocked the volley, they’d have hailed it as a world class block.
I say this only because everything that isn’t sh1t must be world class nowadays.

I have a question. Why do Engerland supporters remove their shirts? No other supporters of national teams do that! If they think it makes them look hard they better think again because all I see are pasty, doughy, balding, aging men. Not exactly intimidating! Given what I've seen of English holidayers at Mexican resorts they better cover up because they can get a skin peeling sunburn in about 30 minutes!

Even if you look at it a few times and come to the conclusion that it is a penalty.... it is never a clear and obvious error.

    Crazy decision.

Northerners, Chief. They love stripping off no matter what the weather. There are chaps wandering around in shorts and Tee shirts in the middle of December up in Newcastle.
They’re given to consuming huge quantities of black sausage and handfuls of lard, no doubt.
Think, thick necked chaps driving around in pick ups with a confederate flag flapping from the aerial in Baton Rouge. :thumb up:
