    Some Paddy's been slagging off Dec,

    saying that he's not world class:

    McClean first aimed fire at Rice for his decision to switch Ireland for England in 2019. The former Sunderland and Wigan man stated that anyone who is not proud to play for the Republic of Ireland should "sod off and play for someone else."

    Well that's exactly what he did do, isn't it?

    Well, it is monsoon season. Should still be able to get some nice seafood on the beach. Kerala is great though - first democratically elected Commie govt on the planet and higher literacy rate than the Septics.

    No, they still have govt beer and wine shops and you still get beer in tourist restaurants. They only have bars in 5* hotels now. {Many moons ago, in Allepay, I found a 4* hotel with a nice, dark bar with mild AC which sold G&Ts for only a few rupes more than the really cheap boozers where the poor downed neat, fake scotch.}

    But as someone who always just bought beer and vodka from the govt shops and drunk beer in the restaurants, the change banning cheap bars didn't affect me.

    Surely a custom more honour'd in the breach than in the observance?

    Have a pint
    "Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.

    "But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."
